JOB TITLE: Charity Income Generation Manager
PAY: £15.00 per hour
HOURS: 20 hours per week, flexible workings arrangements can be made
PROBATION: 6 months with planned renewal subject to funding availability and performance review
REPORTING TO: Chief Executive Officer
LOCATION: Aspire Office plus home working optional
JOB SUMMARY:
Work with an innovative and creative team who are passionate about seeing isolation amongst older adults eliminated in Kirklees. We are looking for an experienced fundraiser with enthusiasm and passion for local community development to work with us for fifteen hours a week. There is huge potential for this role to grow as the charity grows! Your role will be to be familiar with and excited about the future of the charity as we seek to support more people in the area – you will be networking, researching, and developing our fundraising strategy in partnership with the senior leadership team (CEO and Trustees). You will need to be proactive and work autonomously to creatively source funding streams including grants and private donors, as well as working with the team to organise community fundraising events.

- Can proactively raise income from the local community including individuals, friends groups, corporates, community groups and schools
- Can initiate and develop innovative fundraising initiatives and events which capture the imagination of our supporters, adding diversity to community, corporate and individual fundraising
- Can engage with and establish new and existing relationships within the local community to encourage ongoing support and funds and increase supporter retention * Has good IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Database reports etc)
