DESCRIPTION:Heartwood is Eden’s Forest CIC’s creative woodland programme\, delivered as part of the Kirklees Creative Nature initiative. These gentle\, hands‑on sessions offer a calm space for adults to pause\, reset after the summer and enjoy low‑pressure creativity in nature. Activities include cyanotype\, simple greenwood work\, willow weaving and other accessible crafts designed to support regulation\, connection and confidence. \nSessions take place in our peaceful 70‑acre woodland near Honley train station\, with sheltered making areas\, a hand‑built roundhouse and a cosy campfire space. Each session is fully catered\, with a warm lunch\, hot drinks and s’mores around the fire. Heartwood is inclusive\, sensory‑friendly and offered on a Pay As You Feel basis\, with a friendly welcome from our experienced facilitators.

These sessions offer calm\, connection\, creativity and a supportive wellbeing space for adults in a woodland setting. \nHeartwood focuses on accessible\, hands‑on creativity using natural materials\, with opportunities to contribute to collaborative artwork shaped by our Artist in Residence. \nThis session is designed as a post summer reset. A chance to breathe out after the holidays\, settle back into routine and enjoy quiet time in nature with friendly facilitators who understand anxiety\, overwhelm and sensory needs. \nFully catered with Lunch\, hot drinks and snacks included.\nFinance should not be a barrier to making friends\, so all places are offered on a Pay As You Feel basis. \n🌿 What we will be doing\nEach Heartwood session blends simple\, seasonal making with gentle nature connection.
