SEO Specialist.
The Role
We are looking for an SEO Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Create compelling content that establishes Accu as an expert in the engineering/procurement/supply chain space and helps drive more targeted organic traffic to Accu.co.uk, including: articles, case studies, technical guides and new product launches.
- Formulate search engine optimised descriptions for our range of engineering components, working closely with other teams on joint projects, including: engaging with the engineering department on technical specifications, 3D model creation and creating training resources.
- Working with the Merchandising team to create optimal product and category names, identifying best keywords to target the right audiences.
- Collaborating on Marketing team projects, including: brainstorming, refining and developing new creative ideas for campaigns.
- Writing storyboards & scripts for video content and ad creatives e.g. YouTube ads, TikToks & Instagram reels.
Essential/Desirable Skills
- The ideal candidate will be passionate about both marketing and engineering.
- You’ll have strong writing and presentation skills, combined with a determination to drive results.
- A solid understanding of SEO principles and some experience with content marketing and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Moz, Sistrix, SEMRush Hubspot, Google’s Keyword Planner & Search Console would be an asset.
- Experience blogging and/or writing marketing copy that clearly communicates a product’s benefits and unique selling proposition.
- SEO fundamentals – a basic understanding of how web pages rank and have applied this to projects you have undertaken.
- Google Search Console or other SEO Tools that capture data to help plan content production to grow organic website traffic.
- Experience editing technical documentation and articles written by others.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in engineering/supply chain/procurement and a curiosity in how things work.
Qualifications/Study Requirements
- No formal qualifications are necessary, but we’d like to see at least one year of experience working on SEO related projects.
- Ideally across a broad range of industries and utilising some of the tools mentioned in the role description.
Working Hours
4-day working week, Monday to Friday
34Hrs per week, 08:30 to 17:30, 30 minute lunch break daily
Salary
£25,600 – £28,400
