ABOUT THE MENSROOM
Amanda and Andrea opened the Mensroom in 2012 as they recognised a gap in the market for a competitively-priced ‘men only’ pampering parlour, where men could take time out for a haircut, cut throat shave or facial in a relaxed environment.
We were keen to provide a service for men who might want to escape their day to day pressures for an hour, read the paper, enjoy a complimentary beer or cup of coffee, whilst indulging in a spot of male grooming.
We also offer group packages, for example pre-wedding bridegroom parties, where both groom and groomsmen can all come and get spruced up for the big day together – with maybe one or two beers to steady those nerves!
We offer both a walk-in and appointment system to cater for those who just want to pop in for a quick trim whilst passing, or those who prefer a more relaxed appointment.
ABOUT AMANDA & ANDREA
Neither Amanda nor Andrea started their careers as hairdressers, but decided that they needed a change in direction from their administration / secretarial roles.
Andrea began her hairdressing career 10 years ago, working in a salon for over 7 years before starting her own adventure. Andrea is Level 3 qualified, and qualified to carry out cut throat shaves. She has also completed some training with American Crew.
Amanda began her hairdressing career 6 years ago, training with a private academy. Amanda is Level 3 qualified and qualified to carry out cut throat shaves. She has also completed some training with American Crew.
