At Soothing Bonds, we want to support you through your new journey of parenthood. We want to create somewhere you can relax, have fun and most importantly get in precious bonding time with your baby.
We also know how important is it to meet other parents during the critical learning stage of your children’s lives, our classes are a great place to socialise with other parents, we often finish classes with a cake and a cup of tea too.
We are currently taking bookings for:
- Baby massage – Shelley village hall – Tuesdays at 11am & Upperthong village hall – Tuesdays at 2pm
The massage classes are perfect for babies right from birth to pre-crawling, they offer special bonding time with your new arrival as well as helping to improve your baby’s quality of sleep, as well as soothing colic, among many other benefits for both parents and babies.
- Baby yoga – Shelley village hall – Thursdays at 11am & Upperthong village hall – Thursdays at 2pm
Baby yoga is an excellent way of connecting and bonding with your baby from 6 weeks to pre-walking. It gives parents the opportunity to have positive interactions with their baby through relaxation, songs, and play. It’s also a great way to meet other parents in a social, friendly setting.

“Would highly recommend Soothing bonds yoga. We’ve just finished the sessions and he loved it! Although Freddie was several months older than the other little ones and on the move, Sara was great at adapting techniques for us plus the use of sensory toys, song and movement always kept him engaged.”
“I love the one-on-one time and bonding that I get with my daughter in the Soothing Bonds classes – would recommend to any new parent. Baby massage is like magic for my little one. She loves the session and is completely chilled out after & has a nice long afternoon nap. Winner!”
“Sara is extremely professional, friendly, and ensures mum and baby get the most out of their class.
We started baby massage when Isla was 6 weeks, it was an amazing bonding experience for me and my new baby!
Sensory play after yoga was perfect to sit and play whilst having a chat with other mums.”
How long do the classes usually last?
Each class lasts around 45-60 minutes with enough time to have a quick catch up over a cuppa at the end if parents want to stick around
What is the class structure for baby yoga?
As the classes are all baby led it does depend on how our babies are feeling but typically we start the session with welcome songs and warm-up, yoga for parent and baby, sensory play, and finish with soothing relaxation time.
Are there resources available so I can do baby massage or baby yoga outside of classes?
There is! We supply a welcome gift bag for the first class which will give you the basics you need to try out what you have learnt at home with your baby. We also have sensory play packs available to buy.
How many babies do you typically have in each class?
We like to keep the classes small so it doesn’t get too busy. It gives parents a chance to relax and get to know each other. Maximum of 8 at Upperthong village hall and 5 at Shelley village hall.
