Magic Rock Tap HD9

Magic Rock Tap HD9

Set in the heart of the iconic Yorkshire village, Magic Rock Tap HD 9 is housed in a grand Victorian building hailing from 1844; originally built to house the London, City & Midland Bank, we’ve tried to preserve as many period features as possible. Venetian style windows, exposed brickwork and even the original bank vault, is converted into our cellar (carefully housing our award-winning beer!), alongside modern industrial interiors and our distinct branding.

Pouring from 8 keg lines and four cask lines bring a range of our  IPAs, Pale Ales and Stouts, also, salty goose styles and sours: there is something for everyone to enjoy! Don’t worry if you’ve not got time to stay for a pint – get beer to go from our fully stocked fridge of takeout cans or fill a growler with your favourite brew.

There’s nothing better than food & beer, and we’ve covered all bases; working with Yorkshire vendors to create a weekday menu that offers something for everyone from delicious Yorkshire Platters, filled with delights from Hinchliffe’s Farm Shop, Pies from Bolster Moor and pickles from The Unusual Chutney Company, alongside a plant-based curry, chosen to pair perfectly with our beery offering, that is absolutely packed full of spice and flavour and created in collaboration with Dabbawalla, a Birkby company who provide authentic vegan home-style Indian cooking.

Award-winning local roasters, Darkwoods supply our delicious coffee, and an excellent selection of savoury and sweet treats will be available through the week for you to munch on whilst enjoying a pint or two!

Following on from our offering in Birkby, we have a weekly rotating selection of some of the best street food providers taking over our basement kitchen every weekend, serving up everything you can imagine, and never dull – expect flavours of Japan, Mexico, Ethiopia, Morocco and everything in between!
