Five on the Square coffee house & kitchen is hidden down the cobbles between The Tap House and Lou & Joe’s Burger Co, right in the centre of Holmfirth, serving good food, all freshly prepared and cooked to order, with a tasty menu of breakfast and ‘brunch & beyond’ dishes to suit all tastes, including an ample vegan and vegetarian selection and most available gluten free too.
We have become noted for our great coffee, blended and roasted locally by Coffee Brothers, which goes down particularly well with our in-house baked cakes, brownies, blondies, scones, ‘brookies’ and cookies which can also be complimented nicely by one of our loose leaf teas or the firm favourite, Yorkshire Tea.
The really good news is that most of our menu is available to take out and all our in-house baked goodies can be purchased in boxes of 4 or more – and make the perfect gift – or they can be ordered by the whole tray or cake at a discounted rate or at wholesale prices; just tell us what you’d like!
As we’re licensed we also offer a selection of craft beers and lagers, ciders, wines and prosecco to accompany your brunch or lunch and spirits and cocktails are available too. We also run theme nights so keep an eye out for those on Facebook and Instagram

The whole venue is available to book for private functions with food, nibbles or buffet available – just get in touch to discuss your requirements and budget with us and we’re sure we can work with you to come up with something special!
