Mental Health for You and Others at The Tech, Holmfirth

Together with Kirklees Wellness Service Holmfirth Tech will be hosting a free 3 hour course ‘Mental health for you and others’ on Tuesday 17th October from 9.30am to 12.30pm. This course will raise your awareness of mental health issues and offer an insight into ways of coping with challenges. It looks at mental health to support others but also to support your own mental health.
Course content:
-What is mental health?
-Perceptions associated with mental health
-What does good mental health look like?
-Influences on mental health in others
-What to do in a crisis
