Comedy & Cabaret at The Civic Holmfirth

Comedy @ Cabaret comes to The Civic Holmfirth! Join talented singer Hayley Russell and BBC Radio 4’s Comedy King David Eagle for an amazing night of Music and Comedy.

David Eagle was crowned new comedian of the year in 2019 by Nottingham Comedy Festival, Bath Comedy Festival and Leicester Square Theatre.

He appeared on the most recent series of BBC Radio4’s flagship comedy The Now Show.

David is blind and his stand up often explores how this leads him into many surprising, hilarious encounters and misadventures.

Armed with an accordion, he punctuates the jokes and stories with the occasional comedy song, one of which was described in the Guardian as “a comic tour de force.”

Hayley is a singer, actor and presenter from Manchester. She is currently on tour with UK Drag Race winner and comedian Danny Beard.
