SUMMARY:Evening Jewellery making Classes with Rooks & Roses
DESCRIPTION:These Wednesday Evening Workshops are designed to be flexible to meet the needs of each individual whether you’re just starting out in jewellery making or if you’re looking to expand your existing skills and knowledge. \nWith a class of just four students\, in his fully equipped studio\, Karl will guide you through the process of how to cut\, file\, shape and solder copper and silver in order to create your own special piece (or pieces) of jewellery. \nThese intimate classes are designed to encourage participants to think about the way different materials work and how various methods such as heating\, hammering and texturing can assist in creating your final unique piece. \nWorking from either your own design ideas or a number of possible examples\, Karl will work closely with you with to create it\, within the parameters of both the timescales and materials available. DESCRIPTION:This class takes place at the Sculpture Lounge Studios- home to a growing number of professional artists. Classes are led by Jamie Frost\, a figurative art specialist with a particular passion for drawing:\n\nDrawing is a very personal thing so it’s important to me that the atmosphere of my classes is welcoming and accepting. Small groups of people help each other to understand what they are doing\, regardless of experience\, whilst I provide a structure\, tuition\, and advice which can move things forward.\n\n\nMy sessions take into account the complete beginner but we also have plenty of more experienced artists involved. \n\nIn order to attend you just have to bring yourself and some enthusiasm. I provide drawing media and good quality cartridge papers. The studio is equipped with easels\, drawing boards and all the equipment you should need\n\nThe course structure includes regular lessons in formal drawing. Line\, tone\, perspective\, mark-making\, blending\, foreshortening\, portraiture and many other subjects are discussed. DESCRIPTION:Carving is a beautiful process. The textures\, sounds and aroma of the materials will awaken your senses\, accompanied by the rhythms of each student driving chisel with mallet. In this class you’ll work using finest quality hand tools to carve green timber. Everything is provided. You’ll be shown how to care for tools and where to acquire your own.\n\nNo previous experience is required. Your first class will take the form of a structured introduction to the tools and processes involved. You’ll then move on to your first project. This is a guided workshop with a maximum of eight participants\, where the tutor is on hand to provide tuition\, advice and assistance as you develop your own project.\n\nThe workshop is open from 4-6pm each Wednesday. The introductory class will teach you how to make a relief carving\, to be completed in a 6-8 weeks.

By learning Greek\, you can delve deeper into Greek mythology\, art\, architecture\, and music. You can also gain a better understanding of Greek traditions\, customs\, and way of life. \nMoreover\, Greece is a popular tourist destination\, and knowing the local language can greatly enhance your travel experience. Speaking Greek allows you to communicate with locals\, navigate the country more easily\, and gain insights into the local culture that may not be as accessible otherwise. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur Greek Classes\nThese classes provide a welcoming and engaging environment for adult learners to explore the complexities of Greek grammar\, vocabulary\, and pronunciation.
