Pottery Workshop – Lu’s Place (SOLD OUT)

We’re excited to be hosting a *brand-new* pottery workshop on Friday 18^th October 2024 from 5:30pm in collaboration with the fantastic TYRO Studios!

Arrival is from 5:30pm to enjoy a welcome glass of prosecco or bottle of beer, and a selection of our chef’s favourite canapés.

We will have a limited food menu available featuring a selection of pizzas and side dishes if you wish to purchase and place an order on for dine-in or takeaway on arrival for the end of the pottery session (approx. 8:15pm).

At 6:15pm take your seats and prepare for a brief demonstration by TYRO Studios on how to make the perfect pottery piece, before you get creative and make your very own masterpiece! TYRO will be on hand to guide you along the way and to share all the tips and tricks to create something amazing! Don’t worry about your clothing – TYRO even provide aprons!

Once your ‘work of art’ is finished, TYRO Studios will take your pieces away for approximately 6-weeks to fire and glaze them. We will contact you when these are ready to collect from Lu’s Place.

Hot, soft, and alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase.

This will be a social and fun-filled event ideal for couples, groups, parties or feel free to come on your own – all are welcome!

We are easily accessible from Meltham, Holmfirth, and provide plentiful on-site parking. But why not grab a taxi, and make the most of it instead?

Terms:

• The £55pp ticket price includes a welcome glass of prosecco or bottle of beer, arrival canapes, and a pottery workshop by TYRO Studios.
• Any additional food or drink will be charged on the day.
• Seating/tables are allocated on a first come first served basis. Specific table areas cannot be guaranteed.
• Some parties will be required to share a table with other guests.
• All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Dogs will not be permitted into Lu’s Place for this experience.
• A discretionary 10% service charge will be applied to all food and drink bills on the evening.
• If the experience is cancelled, we will use our reasonable endeavours to notify you as soon as possible (including notifying you of the details of any rescheduling). If the experience is to be rescheduled, you will be offered a booking at the rescheduled experience (subject to availability). If you are not able to attend the rescheduled experience or the experience is not rescheduled, we shall give you a refund of the face value of the booking within 5 working days.
• No own food or drink is to be brought on to the premises.
• Lu’s Place reserves the right to update the ‘Pottery Workshop’ experience terms at its discretion.
